From the summer of 2010 until late 2012, I was a freelance contributing writer, photographer, and videographer for Phrequency.com (now Philly.com/Entertainment.) I am super proud of the work I put into that site over the years, and so I thought I’d call out some of my favorite projects that I did for Pherquency here…
Phrequency Flash Concert: TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb
I’ve did a few of these Flash Concerts in 2010/11, but in this one we rode SEPTA’s Orange Line from Patterson to Fern Rock — and back again — as TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb played song after song for dozens of fans and SEPTA commuters. It was, as you might expect, INSANE.
A street style series I did for about a year and a half on Phrequency, where I tried to find the most fashionable people on the streets of Philadelphia.
A design series I created for Phrequency in 2011 that searched for the most remarkable houses and apartments in Philadelphia.
Nom Now Interview
An interview I did with Philly wheatpasters, Nom Now, as they installed their newest work in Northern Liberties!
