Taryn Zychal just sent me this video that she shot over the weekend of a man hauling a big-ass backlit billboard thingy up South Street, and it kind of got at me. I mean, even if they are paying this man good money–which I highly doubt–is it really worth sending a warm blooded human being out into this freezing February cold to do something this completely unimportant?

Delivering mail, okay… Construction, ok… But this? Come on.

Not to mention, are there even that many people walking up and down South Street this time of year? Seriously y’all.

One response to “Backlit Human Powered Billboard, in February?”

  1. to be honest he was probably being paid $25+ and hour to do that. i am involved w/staffing for jobs of this nature. trust me though i still think it’s unimportant as is most types of marketing/consumerism.
