If you follow this blog then you know by now I’m a sucker for a nice photo of the skyline, and as it happens, taking a nice walk across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge in the Springtime offers just that.

  1. I definitely appreciate your Ben Franklin pictures. I feel lucky to have the experience of biking over that bridge during my commute to work in Camden. The spring is amazing thing throughout Philadelphia but a lot of people do not realize how a giant bridge to Camden could come to life in this season. Usually in the afternoon you will travel right over a Rivershark game in progress at Cambell’s field.

I wish we were allowed to travel on the Walt Wit, the views from the top of that bridge are some of the best in the city.

Here are links to two photographers who also captured some really nice shots of the Ben Franklin bridge…

*** I sometimes wonder how much longer public bridges will have real names such as the Ben Franklin or the Walt Whitman … I can imagine sometime soon they will be known by corporate names like the Wells Fargo bridge or the Aramark bridge (names that will change every few years)
