Sign Language Street Art?

I’m taking a wild guess that this means something in sign language. Anyone know?

Either way, I’m kinda really in love with this. It’s at 4th and Spring Garden streets in Northern Liberties.

    If it is ASL (American Sign Language), which I presume it is, then it appears to be the letter “F”.

    The buddha hand gesture, maybe for:

    Jnana Mudra
    Teaching. The hand is held at chest level and the thumb and index finger again form the Wheel of Law.

    Vitarka Mudra
    Intellectual argument, discussion. The circle formed by the thumb and index finger is the sign of the Wheel of Law.
