Last time this week, many of us were eagerly awaiting the all but foregone victory of Tom Wolf in PA’s Governor’s race. Forgone because the man running against him for reelection, Tom Corbett, was possibly the worst governor our state’s ever seen: for many, many reasons, but for me I think it had a ton to do with him famously cutting budgets for education while still finding money somehow to build more prisons and give tax breaks to polluters. Not exactly the Pennsylvania I wan to live in.

Nevertheless, I just saw this poster on Frankford avenue in Fishtown (near Blue Cadet). A poster which seems to imply that no matter what, we may be in for more of the same… I hope that’s not true. Or, perhaps I’m reading this poster the wrong way. Either way, I like when artists use their talents to spark this kind of thought/conversation!
