Ishknits is at it again!!

Philly’s most famous yarn bomber, who I happen to be in a show with at the moment at City Hall, took her talents to Fishtown this weekend to brighten up the intersection of Front street and Girard avenue (under the Market-Frankford El,) knitting over and old phone booth.

I know some people in this city aren’t too big of fans of yarn bombing lately, some are even “repulsed” by it, but seriously, this is such an awesome and inspiring artform, and I have a feeling we’re just beginning to see what Jessie Hemmons (aka Ishknits) can do… How does this make you not just smile?

LOVE it, Jessie!! Keep up the great work.
