Spotted two of these “This is Real” signs around town yesterday. One on 2nd street in Old City, and one on 9th(?) and Spring Garden… Both were just laying up against walls, so if you wanna go grab one, feel free!!
And yes, if these signs look familiar, they do appear to be the same ones from my art show at PhilaMOCA last October, Streets Dept Presents.
That said, I’m still not sure who the artist is, or what this is all about, but I like it… I think.
Both in front of Harlequinade Art pieces… No respect.
Except they left ’em in front of someone elses work, namely Harlequinade Art. As if there were no other empty walls in this city. No respect.
it’s not like they pasted over the dude. just move them if your so butthurt.
Yes, let’s move them directly into the MoMA
