Mad weird interaction with a SEPTA employee right after I took this last photo. He told me that after the fire on the Broad Street Line a few weeks ago, what I was doing might look a little suspicious to some people. I kind of tilted my head a bit and told him that I just thought the sunset looked really good from the bridge, but he insisted that I should be more careful. Soooooo weird.

Transit employees often don’t know what they’re talking about and like to bother photographers – Philadelphians can be pretty touchy in general with cameras. I’ve only dealt with SEPTA in that regard once and it was pretty annoying (to say nothing of losing the light I wanted that day as the sun was setting). Just shrug ’em off and don’t let them mess up your image.

Yeah, I sorta just laughed it off when I walked away, but I still couldn’t help wondering why he thought I might care.
