I’ve seen a few of these around town. They’re wood planks screwed to parking sign poles where the screw is hammered and bent, so it can’t be removed. Really, pretty creative way to get your art out there.
Anyone know who this is?

These have been up and around for a few years now – a bunch of artists do them, mainly a guy named DASH and UWP. I’ve been documenting them since around 2007 – but they still thrill me every time I find one. I’m not sure if this is DASH, but the group of artists do them on wood, or cd’s or use tin cans or other found and reclaimed wood objects. DASH did one for me a year ago; it’s on 7th and Federal Street – NEENY in yellows and oranges. Very cool.

These are both the artist WTF he does stuff with dash a lot so they are often thought to be the same.
