Never seen anything like this in Philly… A huge paste of a photograph of a woman just got put up on 6th street, right before you turn to get on the Ben Franklin Bridge. (Someone – most likely not the artist – filled in a few of her teeth with a Sharpie.)

Some people on my Instagram seem to be pretty positive that this is a photo of that woman who sells roses right at that intersection. You know that woman – she’s been doing it for over at least a decade now.

Either way, I LOVE this!!

  1. i was so excited to see this! i love that woman – she’s out there all the time selling flowers. always waving and smiling – makes my day. nice little tribute to her – although i wonder if she had any clue it was going to be going up there :)

  2. her name is mary ann , she has been there for like 15 yrs. i shot pictures of her for a portrait series i am doing right now and had to ” paste up ” one of the full body diva shots ….
