Demolished just a few months ago, after it was deemed too unsafe to stand, the constantly inspiring Ruin Porn this week has sent me these stunning photos from her trip into North Philly’s St. Bonaventure church amid its demolition… AMAZING!

Seems a shame, especially since I JUST photographed an amazing home in Fishtown that was converted from an old church! I wish there was a way to save and re-use more of these old/abandoned structures…

    What a shame. Like you said, would have been amazing to see this converted into something useful. I’m sure it will be turned into a boring, square, empty looking structure. Sad.
