Jesus, four years. I can’t even begin to explain the gratitude I have to all the Philly (and non-Philly, for that matter) artists and readers who have made this blog what it is. I am truly so unbelievably grateful. Four years ago I was working at a coffee/gelato shop, taking classes at the Community College of Philadelphia, and playing around with a camera in my spare time. Today, I work as a social media strategist and have watched as door after door has opened for me: from hosting a TEDxPhilly Walk, to becoming an Instagram ‘Suggested User,’ to selling a photo to Rihanna, to meeting and developing relationships with some incredibly inspiring artists, bloggers, writers, photographers, and activists! (And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.) I can not thank you all enough, really. But I’ll try with this…

Conrad-
I was at the first art after dark thing at the philly museum of art, and regretted not having the chance to say hello to you. We met in passing long ago at north bowl. I’ve been following your blog since I started mine, 3 years ago. As a fellow blogger I feel the same way about all the doors that have been opened thanks to my blog, but I also know just how much work, heart, and time surely go into this space. Thank you for doing what you do, and congratulations on all the success that has come to you as a result. It’s well deserved…please keep it up!

Is your claim to fame that you sold a crappy photograph to Rihanna? Your photos are underwhelming.
