Streets Dept’s first art show!! SOOOO excited to finally tell y’all about this…

Featuring work from some of my FAVORITE artists in Philly right now, including: Joe Boruchow, Kristin Smith, Nom Now, Jessie Hemmons (Ishknits), Get Up, Amber Lynn (Project Gastric), and a new mural from Yis Goodwin (NoseGo)!!

If you’ve liked what you’ve been seeing on this blog, then you are going to LOVE this show… I’ve photographed the work of all of these artists a bunch of times over the past few months, and I’ve even been lucky enough to follow most of them out to document them installing new work.

These are, without a doubt, the people I consider at the height of their game, holding down the street art scene in Philadelphia right now. I’m so honored they all said yes, and I’m so excited for the show!!

And on a quick personal note, you all have really helped me turn this blog into something over the past 9 months, and I just want to thank you… I’ve been featured on a number of major art blogs around the world, I had one of my Ishknits yarn bombing photos published in Time magazine, and I’ve even (I just found out this week) been asked to participate in this year’s TEDxPhilly (although I’m not quite sure yet in what capacity, but I’ll let you know as soon as I do.)
