  1. Love how you have piles of trash you did not pick up and are promoting trespassing on your official blog

  2. Sorry, I thought this was an official website of the city. Please ignore my earlier comments.

    Great photos.

    1. Haha, no worries… I get that from time to time. Thanks, man!!

    2. This website is clearly too pretty to be an official gov’t site.

    3. bwahahhahaha. that just made my day.

  3. Don’t forget the Ben Franklin Bridge walkway! Some incredible views up there!

    1. Totally forgot that one somehow… Good catch!!

  4. awww I don’t think you can get to the top of the Divine Lorraine anymore, they sealed the first and second floor windows with concrete since they had that fire

    1. That’s probably for the best…

      1. is it possible to still get inside and take photos? I’m a photographer and i’ve been eyeing up that building for a few years now!!

  5. Great post, some other spots: Lemon Hill for the mansion and skyline above the trees. Penn Treaty park has great waterfront views, plus shots of the coal tower at the vacant Peco plant. The parkway for the outdoor art/sculpture. West Philly on the EL for shots of ESPO’s love letters. FDR for the skating/graf, so many interesting things to see in this city.

  6. Drexel Park / Spring Garden Street Bridge has the best view of the skyline in my opinion.

  7. Hey Streets Dept, I just replied to this via tumblr with some more cool spots in Philly. Check it out (I promise it’s all photography and not spam)

  8. Dig it. Parking garages are always underrated spots to get great views of the city.

  9. Conrad, you mean Broad and Vine right. not 10th & Vine.. Those shots you took are closer to Broad then 10th…. Amazing work… I always hope to run into you… after all, Philly is the great big small city.

    1. You’re right! I actually meant 12th. Just changed it. Thanks!!

  10. Belmont Mansion is a great spot to get shots of the whole city.

  11. […] Streets Dept blog places three locations in The Eraserhood among the Top 15 Best Spots to Instagram from in Philly. [Of course, here at eraserhood.com, we totally agree. We already knew how photogenic our neighborhood is!] […]
