Located in North Philadelphia (don’t want to give too much away,) this school is sadly not the only one that’s been left abandoned by the city. Full of some amazing works of graffiti and stocked with a surprising amount of supplies (books, desks, an oven, etc.,) the space looks like it was closed one day without warning and left to rot.

Agreed… No, it’s their roof gym/play yard.

I attended a Philadelphia school that had no gym around 1959. We were bused to this school to play basketball on the roof (it was a spectacular view then) and to swim in a pool on a lower floor one summer. I wish you included the name of this school, since I can’t remember it now. The Philadelphia school system has been in financial crisis and the students suffer.
