Streets Dept Talk with Need In Deed at Independence Charter School

Earlier this month I was invited by Sharon Ahram of Need In Deed to speak to 4th graders at Graduate Hospital’s Independence Charter School about street art, graffiti, and the value of non-cooperate messages and imagery in our public spaces. And today, I received a handful of wonderfully illustrated Thank You notes from the kids!

This just absolutely warmed my heart, so I wanted to share. Especially love the card by one of the kids depicting Kid Hazo’s ‘Fist Pumping Ahead’ sign and ‘PPA Ticket.’
