Calling All Artists: What Will Philly Look Like in The Year 2076?
SOOOOO excited to be a judge for this show!
This spring, I’m partnering with Space 1026 and fellow judges Miriam Singer and Ryan Beck (both FANTASTIC artists themselves) for a juried show that asks Philly artists to look into the future!
We’re looking for artists to submit 1-3 pieces of 2D visual art that explores Philadelphia in the year 2076. What do you think the city will look like in 60 years? The idea is super abstract, so take it wherever you want! Some thought starters: post apocalyptic nightmares, environmental meltdowns, dreamlike futurescapes, new versions of the same old. And yes, we’d love to see some photography work too!
Our open call submission deadline is May 1, 2016 at midnight. And the show will run June 3rd through June 25th.
