THIS!

This new wheatpaste series, which has been popping up all around Philly, depicts a group of faceless KKK members gazing up at and (seemingly) revealing themselves to Republican Presidential nominee Donald J. Trump. It’s the work of artist Plamen Veltchev, who submits the following artist statement on his website:

“My inspiration comes from contemporary global conflicts and the struggle of individual freedoms when interlocked with larger forces. I am most interested in unveiling consequences by modern unrest and global fragility. In my new paintings I discharge rather new symbolic meanings of peril, dominant intractable detonations, and infected conquerable liberties. ‘Denied’ is the emblem of deceased human rights and contaminated independence.”
