Participatory Public Art Installation Reminds Philadelphians That They Are Magic
A super fun, participatory public art installation popped up for the day yesterday at 20th street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. From Texas-based artist Alicia Eggert, the installation would begin to inflate when two or more individuals touched their hands to each other and to platforms on either side of them in front of the piece. After about 30 seconds, the words “You Are Magic” would appear.
Curated by Ryan Strand Greenberg with Mural Arts Philadelphia, the installation will pop up one more time in Philadelphia, next Saturday, November 3 from 10am-6pm at Franklin Paine’s Park!
