Artist Marian Bailey Installs New “Love Letter” Mural to Black Women/Femmes on South Street

Love this new mural by Philly-based artist and regular Streets Dept collaborator, Marian Bailey, located at 4th and South Streets on the empty storefront that for years was a Starbucks!

“It’s a love letter to the people who make me feel most seen, Black women/femmes!,” Marian wrote me over text. This mural joins the one from Mz. Icar that I wrote about a few days ago funded by Doritos, yes that Doritos, and you can read more about that here.
