Artist Lindsay Bedford Creates A “Procession” Of Love To Philly Public Art On Percy Street

This week, Philly-based artist Lindsay Bedford (aka Truth On The Wind) completed her first mural to-date with support from Mural Arts Philadelphia: a temporary road mural on Percy Street in South Philly titled “Percy Street Pedal Procession”!
“The installation is a series of rose petals that range is size,” artist Lindsey Bedford explains. “And they’re supposed to create an almost otherworldly experience paying homage to love. Especially love for public art and public art in the city of Philadelphia.”
Creating this mural on the ground along the entire Percy Street Project street, which is already home to so many mural and street art on its walls, is such a cool idea. It’s also so clever how this “procession” mural leads people through the street’s other murals, acting as a guide of sorts. I really love this!

This mural will last as long as the elements allow it to last, so if this artwork interests you plan to see it sooner than later!
