Huggie Takes on Mayor Nutter and Philadelphia Property Tax Assessments

March 3, 2013

Ok, so admittedly, I’m not very familiar with all this Philadelphia Property Tax Assessment stuff. I’m a renter after all, so I’m not quite sure how or if it will ever effect me just yet. Nevertheless, a lot of Philadelphia home owners seem really riled up about what’s going on. Including at least one Philly street artist, Huggie, who put up the pieces above all around the city over the last week.

Depending on if you rent property from a land lord or a reality company will determine if your rent goes up or not. Or maybe it will go up regardless unless you have fixed rent. I rent (3 bedroom row home) from a land lord and the new roomie moving in is paying $20 more than I and previous roomies have.

Depends on if you rent from a land lord or a reality company. Currently renting (three bed room row home)from a land lord and the rent is up by $20 for the new roomie moving in compared to what I am paying now until lease is up, and other roomies in past have paid.
