LOVE this Joe Boruchow ad-takeover at 20th and Walnut streets, titled ‘Swamp Flower’!

If you’re unfamiliar with ad-takeovers, I fully recommend you take a few minutes to watch this video. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

UPDATE:
Another ad-takeover by Joe at Broad and Pine streets… Amazing work, as always!

I love this idea, but has there been discussion about what the ads actually pay for? Where does the money go? Does it help support the public transit system? The money made may help keep fares low and pay transit workers. Then again, it could just all got to some faceless corporation – I would like to know if this has ever been discussed in the ad-takeover movement.
In a a dream world, maybe someday these artists can get paid to put their art up in public spaces instead of giving their talent away for free.
