Did The Eagles Just End Tom Brady’s Career? One Philly Street Artist Thinks Yes

February 8, 2018

A new wheatpaste by Philly-based street artist Deer Jawn depicts Philadelphia sports fans’ latest trophy, the head (metaphorically, of course) of one Mr. Tom Brady. And with it, if you’re reading this piece like I am, the possible end of Tom Brady’s career?

The piece, inspired by the Philadelphia Eagles‘ historic Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots, is now one of a small handful of Eagles-related street art and murals that have continued to pop up around Philly over the last couple of weeks, which you can read and see more about here and here!

Now, before you go any further, I’ll have you know that I know next to nothing about football, let alone the chances of this being Tom Brady’s last year. But, whether it is or it isn’t, it is a little bit fun to think that the Eagles could not only have beat the most winningest quarter back in NFL history, but also sent him into retirement. Wishful thinking? Maybe. Close to a reality? What do I know. Seriously, I’ve thought more about football in the last month than I ever have in my life. Go Birds!
